Toward the end of the year, I started to want to be more healthy... yea yea. (You'll get this way too when you notice the freshman 15.) Anyways. I wondered how much walking I actually did so I downloaded a pedometer app. It changed my life. I walked almost 6,000 steps in one day. It blew my mind. One day I reached 12,000 steps. That day I felt amazing. I quit taking the shuttle, enjoyed the outdoors, and actually walked everywhere. I wanted to see how many steps I could take in a day.
At the end of the day, I look at how many steps I have taken and I feel accomplished. I bet you will feel the same way. So for college, download a pedometer. It will make you feel amazing after running to class or walking across campus for food to know that you took (insert number of steps here). I promise. Plus... THE MORE YOU WALK THE MORE YOU CAN EAT. or at least that's my motto...
